one sick puppy

I took Gracie Daisy to the vet yesterday for her big girl shots. She's a real dog now with her rabies tag and everything! HOWEVER, we have a problem. For whatever reason, Gracie is malnourished. The first thought the vet had was that she had worms. Checked her for every worm possible. No worms. So Friday she is going in to get fixed; and while she is there, they are going to do some blood work. Not sure what's going on with my girl, but we're determined to get her better. Steve and I are praying that she just needs more food. (I can't imagine that's it, but that is what we are praying) In the meantime, we are doubling up her food and treats per the vets orders. So Gracie is pretty happy right now. I also may look into pet insurance. I always laughed at that stuff. But IF there is anything long term wrong w/ Gracie, it may not be a bad investment after all. Poor puppy. And poor mommy. She cost me $80 yesterday and more to come on Friday!
