in a land not so far away.........

Once upon a time in a land not so far away, a man traveled for work. There was money to be found in this strange exotic country, and it was money he was seeking. But he found so much more. He met the people. The wonderful, hospitable people of this strange land. He he saw their pain, their poverty, and yet their determined spirit. In a place surrounded by thousands of gods and idols, he discovered the One and Only God reigned supreme. He saw miracles. He experienced The Holy Spirit in a much stronger, more powerful light. And his heart changed. He decided that there was more to do here than simply earn a living for his family back home. He would like to bring them here so they too could experience this new and wonderful place firsthand. He would like to help these people in whatever way God directed. So he timidly approached his family with this new idea. It was received with open hearts, minds, and arms. They were all ready to sail away to this new land and pioneer there together as a family. But the path has been hard. The road long, and the journey not so easy. But they are grateful for the work that takes the man away to this country. For although it is difficult when he leaves them for an extended period of time; his love for this place and the people is renewed. And it trickles down to the family back home. And the hope of one day living among this strange group of people is rekindled.
