doin' the 9-5
This is a fun week for me. I'm a working stiff! This is the time of year when my volunteer job gets a little crazy. You see, I'm helping with The Salvation Army Christmas Angel adoption program. This week is applications. So I drink my coffee and eat breakfast with the family and head out the door. It's fun. Really. I don't think I'd like it as much if I had to do it every day. But I'm enjoying myself. God knows I'm sleeping well at night too! Poor Steve. He's trying to work, and school the kids this week. I don't think this is something he's ready to let me do full time. (not that I'm asking)

i have experienced the same thing! i had such a cool chance to stay home with my kids for years...not that i only did work on the homefront, ministry was always involved...but it is a HUGE difference for the 'fam' when i stepped out of that mode on occasion. been working for almost two years on a part-time basis and i'm not sure they will ever be ready for me to be gone full-time! frankly...i'm not sure anyone would ever have clean underwear, OR, do homework if i did!
I hear that! It seems like at night, that's all I've been doing. Cleaning and laundry. But I'm still having a great time.
