soapbox

If you or your child is sick, and you know that they might be contagious, stay home.
I don't care if it's Thanksgiving. Stay home.
I don't care if your brother is in from out of town. Stay home.
It's rude and selfish to do otherwise.
Your child needs to be in bed. It's what's best for him.
Your family needs to be away from him. It's what's best for them.
To do anything else shows a pure reckless abandonment for everyone else in the room.

Harsh words? Sorry. I haven't had much sleep. I had to nurse Isaac through the night. He has a 102* fever and he's vomiting every 15 minn.

Here's hoping you avoid the bug from a rude guest..................

i totally agree with you! people just don't get it! and the school system, with their stringent (although justifiably correct) stand on not allowing the kids at school within 24 hours of fever, vommitting, ect...why put those rules out there if you are going to write threatening letters to parents concerning school attendance policies and the # of absences your kids rack up?! hello! we keep them home because it's YOUR rules, AND it's the right thing to do! don't get me started...

Heard all about it and I am so with you on this. Hope that Issac is feeling better. Poor little Wyatt too...and Austin. I haven't heard if anyone else from the Davis family ended up sick. I hope that Cassie doesn't come down with it when I am visiting.

Everyone got it. Time, Cassie, Austin, Mikayla, Wyatt, Levi, Steven, Isaac, and myself. The only one spared was Steve. Not fun. But we're over it now and looking forward to your visit!!!!!
