What a great day

Steve got his last quarter bonus today. That's always good. But this particular bonus is what we are using to buy Christmas for everyone and how we are paying for our home study. Steve is on his way now to pay for the home study and turn in our application! That thrills my heart in and of itself. Then to add to it, I had him drag out all my Christmas stuff today! By the end of the day, it shall be Christmas ready at the Wilson house. What a wonderful day. My heart is full and I couldn't be happier. Well, that's not true. I'd be even happier if we were finished with the home study and Anthony were ours. But time will tell. In the meantime, I'm getting in the Christmas mood. The stringing of the tree will begin next week. I hope to be finished before Christmas Eve this year! But for those of you who may not have first hand experience, stringing popcorn, dehydrated oranges, bay leaves, cranberries and cinnamon sticks is an act of love that can't be rushed. One string every night the month of December equals a beautiful tree at the end of the month. All to be dismantled one week later and thrown out for the birds. Kind of an odd tradition, but one I love. The point is, I'm in great spirits today! Merry Christmas you guys. Can you believe it's that time of year already? YEAH!!!!! :-)

Don't you just love it? I'm so ready by the end of December to have it down, but I'm very glad to have an entire month to celebrate the birth of my Savior. He's worth that much, for sure!!!!!!!!!!

so...does putting the tree up and getting the lights on count...you know, WITHOUT the ornaments...cuz there aren't enough hours in my life at this point to, well, you know...finish the job?

close enough. Call it a day.

or not. I'm just now showering for the day. AND IT IS NOON! So who am I to point fingers?

ME TOO! and then i go to work. see now, it must be okay...we both are just now getting to our showers. i say new rule of thumb...if two or more do it, it becomes acceptable adult mom behavior. so be it.
