Oh, he's mine.

Today is Anthony's surgery. He's having tubes put in both ears and a circumcision. Kind of an odd combination; I know. But my pediatrician spoke w/ his doctor and they agreed due to his asthma, it would be best to only put him under one time.

I was up all night. Tossing and turning and praying. Just like I did when Steven had tubes. You know, I've questioned how hard it would be to bond having missed out on the first year of little man's life. But I think last night was a glimpse of God's grace in this area. I don't think it will be an issue. So I don't care if the courts haven't decided. My heart has. And I can't wait for the courts to catch up to my heart.

In the meantime, I'm on my way to the hospital. Pray for Fro-Bro this morning. I'll post an update as soon as I get home.

All went well. He came through both surgeries fine and is home recovering. He was so cute all groggy and dizzy. He kept falling down when we would sit him up. So sweet. And I never knew a little man so dark complected could be pale. But after his surgery, he was so pale! I'm glad to have been there for him and his foster mom. And I'm even more glad it's over!
