family drama

went on a family vacation this past weekend.
Where there's your problem! The entire family was there. To make a long story short; The brother I had driven all day to see only scheduled an hour out of his weekend to see me. I guess he was offended that we didn't stay at the same resort as they did; so they choose not to spend any time with us all weekend long. By the way: the reason we didn't stay there was two fold.
1. We didn't have much money considering it's all tied up in a down payment for the second house. Camping was $50/day cheaper.
2. We thought the seperation for the evening would make things less dramatic. My family tends to fight.

It had nothing to do with my brother. It was just more reasonable to our pocketbook and our sanity to stay elsewhere. I planned the evening with them on Friday night as well as the day on the lake with them Saturday. We got there for dinner Friday night; and as soon as dinner was over; they headed out on thier boat to play on the lake. We had not boat; so we went back to our campsite. Then Saturday we rented a boat for a small fortune and drove it for an hour to meet them. Then we hung around the meeting place all day long waiting for them to come (which they never did)

I had a wonderful time with my own family and my twin sister and her family. But needless to say; the vacation was less than stellar. More on all the fun we had later. I just wanted to vent about my family drama. Crazy sons of bitc%$#
