Our hockiversary

So yesterday was our 13th wedding anniversary. How did we celebrate? We went to a hockey game! The St. Louis Blues were playing the LA Kings for preseason at the Sprint Center. It was my idea and Steve loved it. He said, "How lucky am I that my wife WANTED to go watch a hockey game for our anniversary?" I love Steve. He's my best friend. He's the love of my life. But he is competing with hockey. I LOVE hockey. The pace, the fights, the goals and blocks, oh man.............. I love it. I can't get enough. I was on the edge of my seat for the entire game. It was so cool. Even better than I had imagined. So now you know my dirty little secret. I'm a hockaholic. Conservative Melissa shouting to the players what to do and how to do it, cheering on the fist fights, and screaming my head off when my team makes a goal. That's me. I shared that piece of me with my hubby last night. And he thought it was awesome. So today he is ordering me the hockey channel through satellite and I've also requested a jersey for Christmas. I'm heading to the Blues website now to see if we can go to a regular season game in St. Louis sometime this Winter. Too much fun. I love it.

I found two games that would work for the entire family. I'm going to call Steve shortly and see about booking them!
