On the mend

So Cassandra is on the mend. She has her cathider taken out of her liver Monday. She's feeling a little better every single day.

I too am on the mend. I've been fighting a cold that ended up winning the battle last night. I had a 101* fever and a cough that made a smoker sound healthy. I started the antibiotic today and hope to be back to normal by the end of the weekend.

It seems as though the move has taken its toll on my health. My allergies were the worst they have ever been this year and I've already been sick twice this season although it's only November. I don't know if it's the preschool and having tiny germ-filled hands all over my home, new allergens, or Steven's larger germ-filled hands bringing home junk from school. But one thig is for sure: we've had a rough go this school year so far. I wouldn't go so far to say that I'm allergic to my new home; but man! It makes me think....................
