yep, If you're viewing your inbox, look over to the left where it has the compose button and all your folders, at the bottom of that should say contacts. Just open that up and then there is a button on the upper left with a person icon with an add sign, just click that and fill in the info.
oh, you can also import your address book from other email clients. I remember doing that now but it's been so long I had forgotten how I added my contacts. =)

I love gmail, I think you'll like it. I honestly think it's one of the best free email accounts out there, certainly the best I've used.

It adds contacts immediately as you send or receive mail but I'll see if there is one, I can't remember
