So we just returned from a husband/wife vacation to Ft. Lauderdale. Actually; it wasn't Ft. Lauderdale. It was Lauderdale by the Sea. It's a little village in the middle of Ft. Lauderdale and it's much quiter than the actual Ft. Lauderdale (but still only 5 miles away from all the crazy shinanigans we love to visit) We loved it so much that Steve has agreed to buy a time share! So ladies; pack your bags. The first four days and three nights are reserved for me and my girlfriends. I've been searching all day. And I think we're going to invest in a little two bedroom apartment. I'm so excited and can't wait to own a little piece of paradise. While we're on the subject, let me tell you a story.
The first day of being there; Steve and I walked out the door to say good morning to the ocean. (no-I'm not kidding. Our room was 100 yards from the ocean) It was still early and therefor still pretty cold. So we weren't getting in the water. We just were holding our flip flops and standing there in the wet sand. It was so georgous with the sun coming up over the horizon reflecting on the ocean as far as the eye could see. I was so happy. I gave him a huge hug and kissed him. This woman was walking down the beach and stops to say," You guys look beautiful together. You've just made my day." Well, that made my day. I was so in awe that someone could see how in awe I was with this man. After 13 years; we still are head over heels in awe. And it came across to a perfect stranger. It was the wonderful start to a wonderful weekend. Pictures will soon be following.

J- You've got to talk some sense into Cassie. She seems to think a baby will ruin her fun. I don't think so. So it won't be a drunken stooper? When was the last time we had a three day drunken stooper. I'm going out on a limb here and saying it's been a while............
April-I'm not holding my breath or anything lol.....

Time will tell my friend. I'll let you know as soon as it's booked. But we're going for either the last week of March or the first week of April.
Oh, that is perfect then. I can usually take time off fairly easily around that time of year.
So exciting!
And yea, I can see how you and Steve are still totally in awe of each other. Your relationship warms my otherwise cold and bitter heart. :-)

Girls, all I have to say is this...southwest flies non-stop to Ft. Lauderdale airport and if you book far enough in advance, it's $99 each way.
