Dadisms

I love my dad. There are many things I love about him. The way he loves my mom, the way he prays over every meal; even if it's cereal, and the things he says. My dad is deaf. He's been deaf for quite some time now, so he doesn't have the ability of hearing how words sound before he says them himself. My good friend recently blogged about this phenomenon. She called it Aprilisms. Her's is the most famous of all. She told her boyfriend he had a really big scrotum (she meant sternum) So here are my father's Dadisms:

Lean on your own soup (leave me alone)
I enjoy a nice glass of marriot every now and then (merlot)
Raw hides are bad for a dog's isintins (intestines)
Mut the TV (mute)
She asked me to do a fish dance, but I reclined (declined)
Warsh up for supper (wash)

And that's my Dad. I only write this knowing he won't read it. He's not very computer literate. But my mom and sisters will read this and chuckle knowing that's one of those unique qualities in my father that make him Dad!

Peace Out
