school days

School days........... not my favorite time of the year. I love home schooling the boys. And once I get started for the year; I wouldn't trade it for the world. But getting started.......... it's very difficult for me. So it's that time of year. My niece and nephews start back next week, so our nights together will end. My babysitting girls will have their last week with me next week. The pool will be closed during the day since all the lifeguards will be back to school. And I find myself ready, excited even. I'm going to begin my planning and scheduling and I'm excited! I will be buying curriculum next week and ordering books from the library. I'll start looking into field trips and enrolling for private school. It's good times. A new year. A year of exploring, learning, and growing. I can't wait to see how the boys grow this year and what great things they will embed in their brain. And what a blessing that I'm able to stay home and experience this with them on a daily basis.
