the rubber meets the road

So we found out yesterday that there is a staffing meeting in November to go over the applications and decide on a permanent home for baby Anthony. So we have a decision to make. Are we throwing our hat in the ring or not? Are we moving to India or not? God never wrote anything on the wall for us.

On the one hand, we KNOW God has called us to India as tent makers. On the other, He never said when. What if now isn't the time?

On the one hand, Noah was building the ark a lot longer than the 8 months our house has been on the market. On the other, God Almighty could have had this house sold 7 months ago if He wanted to.

On the one hand, Anthony needs a home that will love him forever and God brought him into our lives. On the other, maybe God brought him in so we could pray for his new home, not BE his new home.

To Steve; adopting Anthony seems like giving up on India.
To Me; adopting Anthony seems like God's provision for us not being in India yet.

I'm calling the adoption specialist today. But we have to make a decision this week.

And then, on top of all of that, there is a chance we won't even get Anthony once we apply!

On your knees my sweet friends. I could use the "air support"
