We can do this

Well, I know I met my blog quota for the day, but I wanted to tell you guys about having Baby Anthony this weekend. I had him ALL day. He came at 9 a.m. Saturday, and I took him home around 8:30 that night. I had so much fun. Nothing got accomplished. I held him, or fed him, or changed his diaper pretty much all day. The only breaks I got was when someone else was holding him, or the 30 minute nap he had in the evening. But it was great. And I loved it. I was exhausted, but I did it. When I laid him down for his nap that evening, I said, "Steve, we could do this right? I know it's been a while, but we could do this again." He smiled and put his arm around me. "Yeah," he replied. "We could do this." Then I sunk myself into the chair and said, "Yeah, but I'm sure tired!" So here's hoping exhaustion comes soon. And I have a Baby Anthony to show for it.
