In for a long haul

So my twin sister, Cassie is in the hospital. She's having the same stomache problems that have been plaquing her for the past 20 years. It causes a great deal of pain. So much so that she requires pain medication and an IV because she can't eat. She had surgery to correct the problem a year ago, and we were thrilled she had been pain free for almost a year. Then the pain started again late last week. It was so bad she went to the ER two days ago. They decided to do the surgery again today only to find out that the sphincter to her pancreas had closed so small that could no longer go in and open it. So now they are going to have to go in tomorrow from the other direction and see if they can open it that way. If not; she is going to have to have the surgical version of the laproscopic one. (much more invasive) So at the very least she has a couple more days in the hospital. At the very most; she has a week. Poor thing. And she's so bored. Tim (her hubby) has to work, our mom has to work, my sister has four kids of her own; and I'm stuck here at home with my two plus her four. So she's pretty much all alone until Tim gets off work at 3:30. I feel bad for her. I know she misses her boogers. I know Tim is overwhelmed, and I know I'm exhausted! But this is what we do. We're family. And we're in it for the long haul.
